Participate
Either by taking a bicycle tour of Vietnam or sending a friend an eCard, you can support CARE's life-work through actions both large and small. Select from the links below, or read on to find out how you can take action:
Take action
Taking action is empowering. You can achieve amazing things and help CARE confront global poverty. Take action in your home, your community and your world:
Hold a fundraising event
If you’re interested in helping CARE fight global poverty, chances are your friends, family and work colleagues are too. Holding an event is a great way to raise money and learn more about CARE. From bungy jumping to bingo, cake sales to charity balls – there are endless ways to take action for CARE.
Join us
By joining CARE you are becoming part of a global force to overcome poverty. You are giving people the chance to create positive change in their lives. You are using your power to defend dignity and fight poverty.
Use your voice
Your voice is a powerful tool to speak on behalf of women living in poverty. One of the most powerful ways for you to support CARE’s work with women is to talk about CARE with the people you know best: your family, friends and work colleagues.
Tell us your story
CARE has many stories about remarkable individuals who are assisting us to create meaningful change in the lives of vulnerable women. Tell us your story.

Volunteer
Giving time is one of the most valuable contributions you can make to the fight against global poverty. CARE has an important story to tell: Women around the world are learning skills and getting the resources they need to lift their families out of poverty. But we can’t reach everyone, and that’s where you come in. CARE Australia partners with VIDA (Volunteers for International Development Australia) in a number of rewarding opportunities.
